Heather Tittjung is a Senior Environmental Remediation Specialist for Magellan Midstream Partners, a publicly traded oil pipeline, storage and transportation company. As a remediation specialist she manages complex, long-term cleanup efforts of major pipeline and facility petroleum releases in 15 mid-continent states. Additional responsibilities include; communicating and negotiating with multiple state and local regulatory agencies, legal representatives, insurers, property owners and multiple intracompany clients.
Heather is very active in many environmental, engineering and petroleum professional clubs and associations. She has served on the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) Cyber Chapter Board of Directors for four years and is currently serving as Chapter Secretary. Locally, she is the AHMP Oklahoma Section leader. She has held multiple past officer positions, including President, of the Tulsa District Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). She is a member of the Women’s Energy Network, Tulsa Pipeliner’s Club, the Desk and Derricks Club of Tulsa.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Management and a Master’s of Science Degree in Industrial Management both from Northeastern State University located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She has over 23 years of environmental work experience and has been a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) since 2006. She is a guest instructor for the Oklahoma State University, Environmental Management Certification Program, Remediation Technologies Course.
